Leland David (Sid) Lambert

Leland David (Sid) Lambert, age 62, passed away April 3, 2009, in Boulder City, Nev., at the Nevada State Veterans Home after a long battle with multiple sclerosis. He was born July 25, 1946, in Prescott, Ariz.

He graduated from St. Joseph's Academy in 1964 and served in the U.S. Navy as a radioman on the submarine USS Medregal and the USS Redfish.

Leland worked in Alaska for RCA as a technician and a supervisor for the Arctic Slope Telephone Company.

He is survived by his daughter, Michelle Carr, and sister Vicki Jennings (Jim). He is also survived by four nephews and two aunts.

Commemoration services in honor of Leland were Friday, April 10, 2009, with military honors by American Legion Post #6, Prescott, Ariz., with burial at Mountain View Cemetery in Prescott, Ariz.

The family was cared for by Heritage Memory Mortuary of Prescott.
