| Camp Verde Bugle, Camp Verde, Arizona Tuesday, April 21, 2009 Lu was born July 10, 1936, in Prescott and went to be with Jesus on April 20, 2009. She is survived by her husband Bill, her sons Billy Paul of Mesa, and Clinton (Daphnee) of Camp Verde. She is also survived by her brother Paul (Patti) Pulsifer of Congress, Ariz. and her sisters Roselyn Zeigler of Tempe, Ariz. and Gayle McDonald of Yuba City, Calif. Lu was the grandmother to eight and the great-grandmother to six, so far. Lu enjoyed a variety of passions during her lifetime, serving as a 4-H leader, with the VFW Ladies Auxiliary, and on the Verde Fair and Rec. She was a long time member of the Camp Verde Saddlebags Drill Team, the Red Hat Ladies Society, the Yavapai Cowbelles, and enjoyed and exercised a long time passion with the Foxxy Fillies Dance Group. Lu was a beautician in Camp Verde for many years and was also Bill's best hand at any of the ranches they lived and worked on. The years they spent on the M Diamond Ranch and the Poor Farm were some of her happiest. For many years she looked forward to spending her Fourth of Julys and Labor Days at Mormon Lake helping the Verde Valley Rangers put on some of the finest Team Ropings ever held. Lu is preceded in death by her father Paul Pulsifer, mother Loretta (Miller) Pulsifer, and Grand Daughter Mistee Joe Teague. LuRean will be missed by all those people she touched during her life. Memorial services will be held at Parkside Community Church on Saturday, April 25 at 10 a.m. and another Saturday, April 25, at St. Francis Cabrini 1 p.m. Bueler Funeral Home assisted the family with arrangements.
