| Vining Funeral Home, Safford, Arizona Max M. Alva February 15, 1936 - March 27, 2015 Maximo M. Alva, of Thatcher, quietly entered into eternal rest Friday afternoon, March 27, 2015, at his daughter's residence in Safford, following a lengthy illness. He was 79. A Mass of Christian Burial for Max is currently pending for Saturday, April 11, 2015, at the St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church.
