Richard James (Dick) Cunningham

Dick Cunningham of Prescott, Ariz., passed away on April 21, 2009, at the age of 83.

He is survived by his wife Nancy Clarke Cunningham; his daughters, Vicki Bridinger (Mark) and Lorraine Cunningham-Cohen (Michael); and his five grandchildren, ShiShoni, Keli, Alan, Harleigh and Tré.

He served in the U.S. Army 87th division fighting in the Battle of the Bulge under General Patton in World War II. He was employed as a civil engineer by Atlantic Richfield. After retiring, he moved to Prescott.

A funeral mass for Dick will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Friday, April 24, 2009, at Blessed Sacrament Church. He will be interred in St. Joseph's Cemetery in his hometown of Weedsport, N.Y., on Monday, April 27. In lieu of flowers, donations are being accepted by the American Cancer Society in honor of Dick Cunningham.
