| Camp Verde Bugle, Camp Verde, Arizona Saturday, April 04, 2009 John David Lechner Sr., 50, from Canton, OH passed away on March 30, 2009 after a long battle with cancer. He was a longtime resident of the Verde Valley who truly enjoyed helping others. He retired from the Army after 22 years. He is survived by his wife Tina of 22 years, children: John Jr., Kareena, Jennifer, Grace, Christopher, Nicole, numerous foster children, and grandchildren: Cole, Chuck, Alex, Brennen, and Christopher Jr., his brothers Roy and George; sisters; Pam, Carol, and Mary. At John's request, in lieu of flowers, donations are to be made to Bank of America under his wife's name to help with the funeral costs. Information provided by family members. |
