| Camp Verde Bugle, Camp Verde, Arizona Thursday, March 26, 2009 Russell Arvid Baker, beloved son, father, grandfather, and brother passed away on February 26, 2009 in Cottonwood, Arizona. Born on January 23, 1939 in LaCrosse, Wisconsin, he is survived by his mother Jeanette Baker, Onalaska, WI; son Scott Baker and daughter-in-law: Tami, Gibbon, NE; daughter Kris Anderson and son-in-law Ivan, Cottonwood, AZ; brother Richard Baker and sister-in-law Melinda, Waconia, MN, and seven grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his father, Milferd Baker and his sister, Barbara Smith. An avid sports fan and a veteran, he served for five years in the U.S. Air Force.
