| The Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona Thursday, February 10, 2005 Steven M. Sisson, age 50, died at his home in Prescott, Ariz., on Feb. 8, 2005, after a courageous battle against Chronic Inflammatory Demyelinating Polyncuropathy. He was born June 29, 1954, in Miles City, Mont., to Marlow and Lois Sisson. He moved with his family to Prescott in 1964. He graduated from Prescott High School in 1972. After building Air-Lock Log Homes in the western states, he began a 20-year career with Arizona Department of Transportation, where he was a supervisor with the Signing and Striping Department. Steve's hobbies included fishing, camping, woodworking, flying remote-control airplanes, and coaching his children's sports teams. He is survived by his wife, Gail Sandri Sisson; his step-daughter, Shawn Hinshaw; his son, Bryce Sisson; his father and stepmother, Marlow and Mary Valentine Sisson; his mother-in-law, Elaine 'Jerry' Sandri; his brothers, John (Denise) Sisson and Wayne (Eleanor) Sisson; his sister, Peggy (Bill) Hanton; six nieces and three nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother, Lois Sisson, and his father-in-law, Al Sandri. Steve's family and friends are invited to a potluck Celebration of Life Gathering on Saturday, Feb. 12th, from 4 to 6 p.m., at Sharlot Hall Museum Gallery (The Museum Center), located at 415 West Gurley Street, in Prescott. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Bryce Sisson Educational Fund at Stockmen?s Bank, account #1103030829. Steven will be remembered as a loving husband, a dedicated father, and caring friend. Those who knew him would agree he was a great man.
