Michele Ann Royer, 58, formerly of Norristown, died July 17, 2013 due to injuries sustained in an automobile accident near her home in Wickenburg, AZ.

Ms Royer was born October 7, 1954 in Pottstown, PA to Merle E (Grim) and Kermit A Royer Sr. She was a 1972 graduate of the former A D Eisenhower High School in Norristown and earned her Nursing License in the early 1980's. Michele spent the rest of her life helping others as an RN in various hospitals across the country and as a private in home nurse for elderly patients in and around Wickenburg for the last several years. She enjoyed volunteering at the Hassayampa River Preserve, showing off the natural beauty of Arizona to family and friends, watching sports, especially college and pro football, visiting Casinos to play in Texas Hold Em Tournaments, playing pool with friends and returning to Pennsylvania to visit family and friends. She was a loving mother, sister, grandmother, and friend to all and she will be deeply missed.

In addition to her parents Kermit A Royer Sr and Merle E (Grim) and her longtime companion Frederick Arnold of Mont Clare, Michele is survived by her step-mother: Diane Royer of West Norriton, PA, her sister: Kathleen "Kitty" Royer and her companion Ronald Henry of Pottstown, PA. Brothers: Kermit A (Donna) Royer Jr of Audubon, PA and Walter Scott Royer of West Norriton, PA. Daughters: Olivia Arellano and her boyfriend Jay Nelligan of Lansdale, PA, and Tacy Arellano of Exton, PA. Stepbrothers: Josh (Lovell), Judd (Hope) and Luke (Stephanie) Embree. She is also survived by her nieces: Danielle Royer, Alexa Downs, Daniela Figueroa, and nephews: Gregory Royer and Hector Figueroa as well as many cousins and friends. She was preceded in death by her nephew Pfc. Jose Figueroa.

In lieu of flowers the family asks that a donation be made in memory of Michele to Hassayampa River Preserve, 49614 N Hwy 60, Wickenburg, AZ 85390. Checks can be made payable to the "Friends of Hassayampa" and memo: Nature Rangers Program.

A memorial service will be held Sunday August 4, 2013 at the Reformed Church of Ascension United Church of Christ, 1700 West Main Street, Jeffersonville, PA 19403. Visitation will be held from 12:30pm until 1:45pm with the service beginning at 2:00pm. Burial will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
