Frances P. Pirtle was taken to the Banner Desert Medical Center on Tuesday, March 17, 2009 from Archstone Care Center. She was taken from us on Thursday morning when her heart stopped.

She was born in Clarkdale, Ariz., on June 1, 1919 to Charles and Lucille Harvick Webb, who were early pioneers of Arizona.

Frances attended school in Clarkdale. She married George Frederick Pirtle of Wanette, Okla. on Oct. 26, 1934 in Flagstaff, Ariz. They both loved the outdoors, hunting, fishing, hiking, oil painting and she was the best cook.

Frances was a faithful wife, homemaker and loved by many friends. She was obedient to God's commands and faithfully attended Sun Valley Church of Christ in Higley, Ariz. with her children.

She is survived by her 2 sons, Dale of Mesa, Ariz. and William of Las Vegas, Nev. and 6 grandchildren. Frances was preceded in death by her husband, George and her son, George.

Visitation will be held 6-8 p.m. on Sunday, March 22 at Bueler Mortuary, 14 W. Hulet Dr. Chandler, Ariz. Funeral service will be held at 9:00 a.m. on Monday, March 23 also at Bueler Mortuary.

Interment will be at Valley View Cemetery in Clarkdale, Arizona, at 1:00 p.m.
