Born in Jutland, New Jersey on Nov. 21, 1924.
Departed on April 27, 2006 and resided in Cottonwood, Ariz.

Louise Learn, 81, resident of Cottonwood, Ariz., passed away Saturday, April 22, 2006.

She was born on November 21, 1924 to B. Peter and Maria E. (Repetti) Fortina in Jutland, New Jersey.

Louise attended the Union Township Schools and graduated from Clinton High School in 1942 with valedictory status. After High School, she attended the New Jersey College for Women (now Douglass College) where she obtained her Bachelor's Degree. Lousie then attended Rutgers University where she achieved her Masters of Education Degree.

Louise taught school for many years in Union and Alexandria Townships in Hunterdon County, and she also taught for the Bridgewater - Raritan New Jersey School District. Louise retired from the Phillipsburg, New Jersey School District in 1979.

She was a member of the Hickory Grange No. 133 in Union Township and a member of the Pomona Grange No. # of Hunterdon County.

Louise and her husband, William L. Learn lived in both Easton and Palmer Township and Wilson Boro in Pennsylvania for 24 years. It was in 1990 that Louise moved to Arizona and made her final home.

Louise is preceded in death by her husband, William L. Learn and her brother, Louis A. Fortina.

Louise will be laid to rest at the Immaculate Conception Cemetery in Clinton, New Jersey.
