Clarence E. Steele Born in Iowa City, Iowa on April 29, 1938 Departed on Nov. 28, 2003 and resided in Cottonwood, Arizona. Clarence Edward Steele, 65, of Cottonwood died November 30 while waiting for a liver transplant. He was born April 29, 1938 in Iowa City, Iowa. He lived in Phoenix for 20 years. He retired from Shamrock Foods. Mr. Steele moved to Cottonwood in 2000. He was an Air Force veteran. Mr. Steele was a member of the Clarkdale Baptist Church. He enjoyed fishing and watching old movies. He leaves his wife of 43 years, Freda Steele; a son Keith, wife Karen Steele, Cottonwood; two sisters, Carol McClement of Forest City, Iowa and Barbara Fischer of Fort Atkinson, Iowa; a brother, Everett Steele of Osage, Iowa; three grandchildren, Katrina, 12 years old, Kristie, 9 years old and Keenan, 4 years old. A memorial service will be held at the Clarkdale Baptist Church, Rt 89A, Clarkdale, Saturday January 10 at 11 a.m. The family asks that any remembrances be made to the American Liver Association, 4545 East Shea Blvd, Suite 164, Phoenix, 85028. The family encourages all to be come an organ donor. Westcott Funeral Home is directing arrangements. |
