Born in Malone Township, Illinois on Feb. 13, 1941.
Departed on April 2, 2005 and resided in Camp Verde, Ariz.

Alvin Duane Steele, 64, of Camp Verde died April 2. He was born February 13, 1941 in Malone Township, Illinois.

He retired from Simmons after over 20 years in Siloam Springs, Arkansas. A member of the Baptist Church he enjoyed car races and was accepted and loved by all who knew him.

Mr. Steele is survived by a son, Tracy Steele of Steeleville, Ill.; a step-son Chris of Siloam Springs, Ark.; a daughter Kim Steele of Steeleville, Ill.; his mother, Betty Orandorff of Pekin, Ill.; two brothers, Raymond Steele of Cottonwood and Delbert Steele of Paducah, Kentucky.

A memorial service will be held at a later time in Illinois.
