| The Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona, Wednesday, May 20, 2015 Betty Jane Ayers-Wells passed away on March 18, 2015 in Prescott, Arizona. Born Jan. 28, 1930 in Waterbury, Vermont to Harold Ernest Ayers and Ruth Brunell Gibbs, both of Stowe, Vermont., she had just celebrated her 85th birthday. Betty was preceded in death by her husband of 28 years, Harold Clifton Wells of Milton, Vermont. She is survived by her five children, Michael (Sue) Wells of East Fairfield, Vermont, Rande Capps of Mesa, Arizona, Sandy Hall of Prescott, Arizona, David Wells of Chino Valley, Arizona, and Karen (Chip) Davis of Cottonwood, Arizona. She is also survived by seven grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; and her beloved dog Maggie. The family will be honoring Betty's wishes to have a private graveside ceremony and to be buried with her parents in the Riverbank Cemetery in Stowe, Vermont.
