Born in Browder, Kentucky on May 25, 1923.
Departed on June 4, 2007 and resided in Cottonwood, Arizona.

Margaret "Abigail" Ohlwiler, 84, of Cottonwood died June 4. She was born May 25, 1923 in Browder, Kentucky the daughter of Harrison Buck Barbee and Minerva Dove Barbee.

Mrs. Ohlwiler was a nurse in Ajo, Ariz. at the Phelps Dodge Commuunity Hospital before moving to Cottonwood where she worked at Fairway Fashions in Camp Verde for a time.

She was very independent, loved gardening and tending to her yard and stray cats, dogs, birds or anything that came along. She liked quilting, collecting dolls and antiques. Known to always keep busy, she was hard working and had a great sense of humor.

Mrs. Ohlwiler is survived by two daughters, Daphne Boan and Delores Wombacher, husband Bill, all of Cottonwood, seven grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Linda O. Saline, a grandson, Kenneth "Charlie" Mead and a brother, Carlos Barbee.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, June 9 in the Westcott Funeral Home at 10:00 a.m.

A graveside service will be held on Monday, June 11 in the Cottonwood Cemetery at 11 a.m.
