| The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona ~ 05/22/2015 Yolanda “Ziggy” Deane went to be with the Lord May 14, 2015. She was born Dec. 23, 1966, to Nellie Deane and Delano Deane. Ziggy grew up in Turkey Creek. She loved to visit rest homes out of town. She went for joy rides in the mountains and collected movies. She was a member of World Evangelist Choir. Ziggy was employed at Sunrise Park Resort. She was a friendly and loving person, welcoming everyone with a smile. She will be dearly missed. Yolanda is survived by her aunts, Georgianna Truax, Lenita Paxson and Flora Cobb; uncles Lambert Meade, Spencer Deane, Fred Aday Jr., Adam Aday and Ross Deane; brothers Derall Deane and Terry Spivey; companion Arlo Johnson; and many cousins and friends. A two-night wake started at 10 a.m. Thursday May 21, at Turkey Creek. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday May 23, at the same location. Silver Creek Mortuary of Whiteriver handled arrangements. |
