Dion Burnette, 48, of Seven Mile entered eternal rest May 15, 2015, in Phoenix. He was born June 27, 1966, to Fernando and Christina Burnette.

Dion grew up and lived in Seven Mile.

He enjoyed drawing and listening to classic rock. Being around his friends made him very content. He loved traveling to the Valley to attend concerts with friends.

Dion is survived by his children, Fernando Burnette, Darren Burnette, Dinnea M Bush, Dengela Bonito, Adriann Burnette and Aaron Burnette; grandfather Allen Aday Sr.; brother Lonnie Burnette; sister Melita Burnette; aunts Marina Aday, Mary Lou Aday, Berlinda Edwards, Melinda Ivins, Veronica Titla, Caroline Burnette, Barbara Burnette and Bernadine Pope Burnette; and uncles Mark Burnette, Dino Burnette and Leroy Burnette.

He was preceded in death by his father, Fernando Burnette, mother Christina Burnette, son Derrick Burnette and grandmother Betty Aday.

He will be brought home for a two-night wake starting at 10 a.m. Friday, May 22, at Seven Mile, 2700 George St., Whiteriver. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Sunday, May 24, at Seven Mile Miracle Church.
