| The Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona, Thursday, May 21, 2015 Mary Colleen Anderson was born Aug. 12, 1960, in Pasadena, California. She spent most of her life in Fresno, California, where she courageously faced the special challenges that life provided. In 2012, she moved to Prescott to be closer to family. For the past 2-1/2 years, she found a home at The Peridot Assisted Living facility and enjoyed her many friends there. Then, after a downturn in her health, she spent her final few weeks at Prescott Nursing and Rehabilitation. While there, she was made comfortable in her passing on May 18, 2015, with the assistance of Canyon River Hospice. Her family would like to thank all the medical professionals who have treated Mary as a unique and special person while providing excellent care and comfort. Your dedication and professionalism have been greatly appreciated. Mary is survived by her parents Catherine and Walter Anderson; brother Tim; sister-in-law Sally; nieces Jeni Wertzberger and Lisa Hordichuk; cousins Sean and Kathleen Ostrander, all whom loved her deeply. Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday, May 23, 2015, at St. Catherine La Boure Catholic Church in Chino Valley. Donations may be made in her honor to the Yavapai Humane Society.
