| The Verde Independent, Cottonwood, Arizona Saturday, May 23, 2015 Mary Estlick, 78 of Clarkdale, passed away on May 19, 2015. She was born on November 1, 1936 in Bloomington, MN to Earl and Mary Fritchman. Mary was a long time resident of Clarkdale and retired from the Clarkdale/Jerome School District. She was a world traveler and loved traveling but always looked forward to coming home to the Verde Valley. She lived and loved everything Arizona. Mary was also a Clarkdale historian and knew all aspects of the Clarkdale Historical Society and Museum since inception. She enjoyed the history of Clarkdale, traveling, puzzles and reading. Mary was a strong and loving mother, grandmother, aunt and friend. Mary was preceded in death by her son Wade Thompson and granddaughter Rachel Thompson. She is survived by son Kent Thompson (Brenda) of Minnesota; daughter Dawn Lane (Chuck) of Texas; 6 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at Westcott Funeral Home in Cottonwood on Tuesday, May 26 at 2 p.m. with a reception to follow.
