| The Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona, Thursday, May 28, 2015 Elsa Janet Young, 72, of Prescott, Arizona departed this life Monday May 18, 2015 in Prescott. She was born Sunday March 7, 1943 in Fort Defiance, Arizona to Lyle and Zelma Young. Jan was born, raised and lived in Arizona for all but two years of her life. She was a dental assistant most of her working career. The last 10 years she worked in Home Assisted Living. She took great joy in being around her four nieces and three nephews and their 11 children. She was active in her church and enjoyed helping those in need. While her sisters were competent hell-raisers, Jan was the quiet one with a very sharp wit and could match anyone dug for dig without being mean spirited. She will be sorely missed. Jan is preceded in death by her parents; sisters Sue and Kay. She is survived by her brother Jim. Inurnment will be at a later date at East Lawn Gardens in Tucson, Arizona.
