Walter George Kazlo, Jr., 78, of Cottonwood died January 2. He was born May 12, 1927 in Bronx, New York.

He attended school in New York City, New York.

A veteran of World War II, he served in the Army.

Mr. Kazlo was a retired manager of an auto body repair shop.

A member of the Arizona Gems and Minerals Club, he also was a master crafstman in glass engraving, was a silversmith and enjoyed jewelry making.

He leaves his wife of 19 years, Verna M. Kazlo; a son, Steven P. Kazlo of Flagstaff; sisters Bertha Peterson of Phoenix, Elaine Slater of Bakersfield, Calif. and Joan Kazlo of New York, N.Y.; and two grandchildren.

There are no public services planned.
