Claude Hugh Holemon, age 62, of Phoenix, Arizona, passed away, September 13, 1997, in Prescott, Arizona. Mr. Holemon was born in Fairfield, Alabama on October 1, 1934. The son of Charles Lee and Katie B. Holemon.

Mr. Holemon was an information systems manager with General Electric for many years. He was a member of the Methodist church and the Oxford, Alabama Masonic Lodge #102.

Survivors include his wife, Carol of Phoenix, Ariz.; sons, Dr. M. Lance Holemon of Scottsdale, Ariz. and Forrest T. H. Holemon of Tempe, Ariz.; daughters, Lee C. Sumner of Houston, Tex. and Gwynda E. Holemon of Scottsdale, Ariz.; brothers, Charles L. Holemon, Jr. of Stuart, Fla., and William L. Holemon of Pell City; sister, Vada I. Nummy of Birmingham. He is also survived by seven grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, September 18, at 10:00 a.m. at the Newcomer Family Mortuary Chapel, 6812 E., Thomas Road, Scottsdale, Ariz. with interment to follow in Green Acres Cemetery.

Visitation will be on Wednesday, September 17, from 5 - 8 p.m. at the mortuary. Memorial contributions may be made to Fairview United Methodist Church, 2700 31st Street, West, Birmingham, Ala., 35208. Newcomer Family Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
