Donald Rex Saline
February 24, 1947 ~ June 25, 2015

We lost a good ol’ cowboy, Donald Rex Saline, 68 of Taylor, Arizona on June 25, 2015. He was born on February 24, 1947 to Eldred and Elna Saline.

Donald was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

He served in the US Army from March 6, 1969 to February 12, 1970. He fought in the Vietnam War from September 14, 1969 – September 10, 1970.

He will always be remembered for his desire to live, more than anything he wanted to grow old with his wife, Sheila, and watch their grandkids grow up. He was a brave man and fought till the end.

He is survived by his loving wife, Sheila Saline; Children: Michelle & Richard Scoggin, Don & Starla Saline and Marni & Jason Seeton; 9 Grandkids: Bridget, Austin, Shalynn, Vant, Clayton,Landon, Stacia, Kierra, and Teagan. And his Siblings: Seth & Joyce Saline, Diana & Milo Hunt, Nancy Saline and Eddie Saline and many Nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents Eldred and Elna Saline, granddaughter: Jessica Mary Saline and Nephew: William Daniel Hunt.

There will be a visitation with the family on Friday July 3, 2015 at 10:00 AM and funeral services will start at 11:00 AM that same day at the Church of Jesus of Latter-day saints, Stake Center, Taylor, Arizona.
