Rusty Spurs Dr., Lake Montezuma, Thursday, January 2, 2003 at 10 a.m. Burial at the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona, Thursday at 2 p.m. Westcott Funeral Home, Cottonwood. ------------------------------------------ Helen (Chris) Watkins Born in Ada, Oklahoma on Sept. 5, 1931. Departed on Dec. 29, 2002 and resided in Lake Montezuma, Arizona. Helen Christine Watkins, 71, of Lake Montezuma died December 29. She was born September 5, 1931 in Ada, Oklahoma. She was an excellent wife and loving mother, gifted in gardening and an avid rock and doll collector. Mrs. Watkins leaves her husband, Floyd E. (Gene) Watkins; three daughters, Joyce C. Helz, Charlene Furfaro and Cathy A. Wright; two step-daughters, Linda Davis and Judy Knapp; two sons, Robert Steven Plaskett and Edward Randall Plaskett; two sisters, Maxine Robins and Midgie Persinger; two brothers, Charlene Tomlinson and Gary Tomlinson; seven grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren. A funeral service will be held Thursday, January 2 in the Montezuma Chapel, 3450 E. Rusty Spurs Rd., Lake Montezuma, Arizona at 10 a.m. A graveside service will be held in the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona at Cave Creek, Arizona at 2 p.m. Westcott Funeral Home is directing these arrangements.
