Waneta M. Watkins Born in Wells County, Indiana on April 11, 1917. Departed on May 9, 2002 and resided in Cottonwood, Arizona. Waneta May Watkins, 85, of Cottonwood died May 9 in Phoenix. She was born April 11, 1917 in Wells County Indiana. Mrs. Watkins retired as a receptionist at Tempe Union High School. She was a member of the First Wesleyan Holiness Church in Phoenix and attended the Allegheny Wesleyan Methodist Church in Cottonwood. She resided in Arizona for 43 years. She leaves two sons, Charles Steven Watkins of Shelbyville, Ind. and Philip D. Watkins of Cottonwood; nine grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. A visitation will be held Sunday, May 12 at the Westcott Funeral Home, Cottonwood from 3-5 p.m. A funeral service will be held Monday, May 13 in the First Wesleyan Holiness Church, 7121 N. 43rd Ave., Phoenix at 10 a.m. Burial will follow in Green Acres Memorial Park in Scottsdale, Arizona. Donatiosn in Waneta Watkins name may be made to the First Wesleyan Holiness Church, 7121 N. 43rd Ave., Phoenix, Arizona, 85051. Westcott Funeral Home, Cottonwood and Camp Verde, Arizona. |
