| The Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona, Friday, July 24, 2015 Stephen "Steve" Joseph Halliburton, a humble volunteer and loving father, passed away on July 13, 2015 in his home in Chino Valley at the age of 64. Steve was born to parents George "Bill" and Therese "Jackie" Halliburton on Aug. 14, 1950 in Des Moines, Iowa. He enlisted in the U.S. Army in 1968 and served honorably in Vietnam. Steve was a talented guitarist and songwriter, performing all over the U.S. He loved coffee, The Beatles, and delighted in the scenery of Arizona, where he finally found his peace. Steve is survived by his daughters Amelia "Amy" Smith and Lauren Ko of Fayetteville, Arkansas; his sister Sandra "Sandy" Halliburton of Dallas, Texas; his brother Larry Halliburton; and two nieces of Nashville, Tennessee. A memorial service will be held in Fayetteville, Arkansas at a date to be determined. Let it be. Information provided by survivors. |
