Suzanne G. (Cosgrove) Conrad, 86, passed away July 1, 2015, in Prescott, Arizona. She was born Nov. 16, 1928, in Sylvania, Ohio.

Suzanne developed a strong interest in minerals and metal; she studied these extensively in high school in Evanston, Ill. Becoming a registered occupational therapist, she used these metal and mineral skills in her job at a private psychiatric hospital in Philadelphia Pennsylvania.

Shortly before marrying William R. Conrad on Nov. 1, 1952, she had the opportunity to take over a gem shop, which she ran until the first of her children were born. During the children's school years she continued her own studies with the Gemological Institute of America and pursued a retail business. After retiring, she returned to her original interest of combing fine metals and minerals into custom jewelry.

Suzanne is survived by her children, William Jr, Michael, Lee and Robert.

Memorial Services will be scheduled at a later date.

Hampton Funeral Home assisted with final arrangements.
