Kenneth C. Balcomb, Jr. Born in Albuquerque, New Mexico on Feb. 25, 1920. Departed on Nov. 10, 2005 and resided in Rimrock, Arizona. Kenneth Chester Balcomb, Jr. of Rimroc, Ariz., died November 10. He was born February 25, 1921 in Albuquerque, New Mexico. He was World War II veteran of Marine Corps where he was discharged as a Captain. Mr. Balcomb attended the University of New Mexico and received his LLB degree from the University of Colorado. He was a retired attorney. Mr. Balcomb was a member of the National Rifle Association, the American Handiman's Association, the Colorado and American Bar Associations and Ducks Unlimited. He was a lifelong hunter, outdoorsman and Labrador Retreiver owner. He was also a golfer, a member of the American College of Trial Lawyers. Mr. Balcomb appeared before the Supreme Court and was a water rights law specialist. He was preceded in death by his wife, M. Michelle Balcomb; sons, Scott, wife Janet Balcomb, Glen Springs, Colo.; Mark, wife Lisa Balcomb, Silt, Colo.; and Kenneth Balcomb III of Friday Harbor, Wash.; a step-son, Scott Baker of Alabama; daughter, Katherine Balcomb Kippy, husband Dow, Silt, Colo.; step-daughter, Lori Strong; brothers, Edward Balcomb of Albuquerque, N. M., Robert Samuel Balcomb of Bremerton, Wash. and John Douglas Balcomb of Wickenburg, Ariz.; eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. There are no public services planned.
