| Wickenburg Sun (Wickenburg AZ) Wednesday, July 1, 2015, p A-7 Allen "Al" Michael Hintz, 67, of Congress passed away suddenly on Thursday, June 25, 2015, in St. George, Utah. Allen was born Feb. 13, 1948, in Elyria, Ohio, to the late Maynard and Eleanor (Higgins) Hintz. A Vietnam veteran, he was active in the service from 1968-1974. On Aug. 27. 1969, he married the love of his life the late Janice Stock of Elyria. Allen was employed with Kellogg's for more than 20 years. He enjoyed target shooting and ham radio. He was a lifetime member of the NRA and active in the church, most recently Good Shepherd Catholic Church in Congress and The Place Church in Wickenburg. He will be greatly missed by his son, Pastor Greg (Tara) Hintz and his grandchildren Dylan, Zion, Xander and Juliana all of Wickenburg. He will be fondly remembered by his brothers David (Cynthia) Hintz of Elyria, Ohio, and William (Bobbie) Hintz of Ashland, Ohio. A celebration of life service will be held 11am, Monday, July 6, at The Place Church, 885 America Street in Wickenburg. Burial will follow in Grafton, Ohio. See Also: Find A Grave |
