Departed on Nov. 21, 2005 and resided in Clarkdale, Arizona.

Carl Edwin Coffelt, 70, of Clarkdale died November 21. He was born February 8, 1935 in Phoenix, Arizona.

Mr.Coffelt was a graduate of Glendale High School and received his Masters in Education degree from Arizona State College in Flagstaff.

He had a career in education as both a teacher and a principal in the Flagstaff Public Schools. His memberships included the Redrock Sams RV Group and the service club Civitans.

His enjoyments were fishing, camping, traveling, boating, being a Dad and Grandpa, and being with friends. A fan of the local teams, he watched the Diamondbacks, the Cardinals, the Suns and Wildcat Basketball.

He is survived by his wife of over 49 years, Kathy; children Alan of Atlanta, Ga., Georgianna of Ramona, Calif., Kathleen of Jacksonville, Fla. and Griffin of Pensacola, Fla.; and nine grandchildren.

There are no public services planned.

Donations in his memory may be made to the March of Dimes or to a school for the deaf.
