Betty Jo Eaton, 78, resident of Camp Verde, Arizona, passed away Wednesday, December 7, 2005.

She was born in Chickasha, Oklahoma on October 3, 1927 to Campbell and Nellie Montgomery. She attended the Madison Grade School and she went to high school in Phoenix at North Mountain High.

Betty was a very talented individual, and very skilled with her hands. She enjoyed crocheting, sewing and making various crafts. She also loved camping and fishing and being outdoors.

She is preceded in death by her husband of 51 years, William James Eaton and her parents. She leaves behind her son, Steven James Eaton; 5 daughters, Brenda Hickman, Stephanie Chaney, Debbie Hough, Penny Morrow and Shelly Sanchez; brother, J.C. Montgomery of Calif.; 2 sisters, Pauline Lowe of Calif. and Jeanette Pruiett of Ariz., 16 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.

Private family services will be held at a later date.
