Betty R. Lyall, 91 of Clarkdale, passed away in Cottonwood on July 3, 2015.

She was born on October 27, 1923 in Bristow, Oklahoma to Joseph and Delma Taylor.

Betty was a homemaker and held many special accomplishments.

She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star since 1957 in Starpoint Office as Ruth; the Elks' Ladies of Jerome as Elks secretary and ran the Bingo Kitchen; library volunteer with the Board of Clarkdale; Pink Lady at Marcus J. Lawrence Hospital; Sunday School teacher; Cub Scout Leader and Girl Scout Leader while her children were growing up.

Betty enjoyed singing, sewing, reading, cooking and traveling with her sister. She was a wonderful mom, grandmother and great-grandmother. She had many many friends and never met a stranger.

Betty was preceded in death by her husband Clarence M. Lyall and all her siblings: Ross Taylor, Kit de Lege and Margie Stoodley.

She is survived by sons Dale Lyall (Beverly) of Bisbee and Bob Lyall (Pat) of Prescott; daughter Barbara Penny (Dave) of Clarkdale; 9 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.

A Memorial Service will be held at Westcott Funeral Home in Cottonwood on Saturday, July 18, 2015 at 2 pm with a reception to follow.
