Juana Evelyn Green Born in Herrin, Illinois on May 20, 1923. Departed on Jan. 15, 2004 and resided in Cottonwood, Arizona. Juana Evelyn Green, 80, of Cottonwood died January 15. She was born May 20, 1923 in Herrin, Illinois. Mrs. Green worked in the San Francisco shipyards during World War II as a welder. She was the owner of Arizona Peddler, a jewelry store in Cottonwood and Precious Metals Brokerage. She leaves her husband Edward Green; three daughters Juana Mead of Clarkdale, Jeanette Shelton and Judy Hummel, both of Cottonwood; two sons, Jesse Poland of Washington State and Jack Poland of Mesa; twenty-one grandchildren and thirty-nine great-grandchildren. Private memorial services will be held. The family asks that instead of flowers, make a donation to your favorite charity. Westcott Funeral Home assisted the family with these arrangements.
