| The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona ~ 09/22/2015 Ronald Asa Nielsen, 74, of Austin, Texas died Sept. 4, 2015, in Austin, Texas. He was born Dec. 30, 1940, to William Ole and Gwendolyn (Tiffany) Nielsen in St. Johns. Ronald worked as a self employed publisher. On Dec. 21, 1962, he married Ilse Vind Pedersen. Ronald is survived by his wife, Ilse Vind Nielsen of Austin, Texas; two daughters, Sharon Begay of Tsaile and Ronda Nielsen of Provo, Utah; three sons, Ronald Nielsen (Jill) of Lindon, Utah, David Nielsen (Suzanna) of Roan Oak, Texas and Gregory Nielsen (Kathleen) of Austin, Texas; sister Zelpha Gardner of Thatcher; three brothers, Franklin Nielsen of Mapleton, Utah, Leslie Gerald Nielsen of Orem, Utah and William Oliver Nielsen of Springville, Utah; 18 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents William Ole and Gwendolyn (Tiffany) Nielsen; two daughters, Gwendolyn Irene Ivie and Anna Marie Nielsen; sister Gwendolyn Elaine Turner; brother Wilbur Nielsen; and two grandchildren, Ronald Ole and Shila Marie Nielsen. A visitation and funeral services were held Sept. 8, at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 8140 Racine Trail, Austin, TX 78717 with Bishop Jon Albright officiating.
