Bruce Owen Becker, 68, of Cottonwood died October 20, 2005. A native of Lincoln, Nebraska, he was born October 1, 1937.

Mr. Becker was a graduate of Gallaudet College in Washington, DC where he received his Bachelors degree.

He was a retired liason and counselor for Nebraska Vocational Rehabilitation. He previously had worked as the Dean of Boys at the South Dakota School for the Deaf and as a counselor at the Nebraska School for the Deaf.

His interests were walking, exercising, hiking, traveling, reading toy train collecting and working with children.

He leaves his wife of 37 years, Kathleen L. (Exline) Becker; brothers Bernard Becker and his wife Jeannie of Surprise, Ariz. and Byron Becker and his wife Jan of Behendorf, Iowa.

There are no public services planned.
