| McDougal's Caldwell Funeral Chapel, Safford, Arizona Darwin Steve Pina, age 53, of Bylas, passed away Tuesday morning, September 29, 2015, at his home. Darwin was born March 26, 1962, in San Carlos, to Scott Pina and Genevie Nosie. Darwin has resided in the community his entire life. He worked as a landscaper for many years and always enjoyed it. He loved to jog, listen to gospel songs, attend church, read the bible, and play basketball with his grandchildren, plant gardens and fight fires. His family meant everything to him. Darwin is survived by his wife, Delphine Nosie-Pina, children, Durran Pina, Durrena Nosie, Brenda (Larold) Lang-Goseyun, Delvin Lang, Trina Lang-Jean-Baptiste, Adel Lang, Darnell Lang, Noreen Lang-Villaruel, Andre Lang and Terdell Lang, siblings, Rebecca Pina, Myrna Pina, Geneva Pina, Scott Pina Jr., Avery Pina, Garrel Jordan and Jacob Pina, as well as 33 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Patrick Pina. Services for Darwin will begin with a wake at 4:30 p.m. on Saturday October 3, 2015 at the family residence and a funeral service the following day, October 4, 2015, at 1:00 p.m. at Stanley Hall. |
