Elwood Boyer Passes Away In Phoenix, Ariz.

Local area relatives have been notified of the death of Elwood (Dollics) Boyer, a former Lebanonian, on Sunday in Phoenix, Arizona, after an illness of some months.

The deceased will be recalled here for his active interest in sports and for some years as a baseball umpire.

A bricklayer by trade, he followed his vocation away from Lebanon for the past twenty years or more, and for the past twelve years was associated with a construction firm in Phoenix as the head of the firm's brick work department.

He is survived by his wife, a former Kentuckian; his mother, Mrs. Sarah R. Boyer, living in Virginia Beach, Virginia; two brothers, Ernest S. Boyer, of Hershey, and Major George Boyer, stationed with the U.S. Army at Fort Knox; and two children, a daughter and a son.

Relatives have also been notified that burial took place in Phoenix on Tuesday of this week.
