Arizona Republic, Phoenix, AZ Saturday, February 26, 1966, p 23 Memorial services for Mrs. Laura Davenport, 94, a 76-year resident of Arizona, will be conducted by her grandson, the Rev. Eugene Lefebvre, at 2 pm tomorrow in Central Presbyterian Church, 37 E. Indian School. Mrs. Davenport, who moved to Gila Bend from her native Johnson County, Tex., in a covered wagon in 1888, died Thursday in her home, 10622 Augusta Drive, Sun City, where she had lived for the past six years. She attended Tempe Normal School and after the death of her husband in 1925, spent her time with her daughters in Southern California and Arizona. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. William Lefebvre of Sun City and Mrs. R. K.
