He was an Air Force veteran of the Korean War.

Mr. Johnson was a retired civil engineer.

He leaves his wife, Amelda Jean Johnson; four daughters, Debra F. Mabry of Cottonwood, Dana R. Bloom of Tempe, Kimber Lee Converse of Glendale and Tami Jo of Cornville; three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

There are no public services planned.
