Charlotte Elizabeth (Perry) Redden

TEMPE -- Funeral services for Mrs. Charlotte E. Redden, 81, native Arizonan, will be at 2pm tomorrow in the First Baptist Church of Tempe, 105 E Eighth St.

Born on July 29, 1876 at Osborn Springs in Yavapai County, Mrs. Redden died yesterday morning in a Phoenix rest home. Since 1920 she had lived in Kyrene and in Tempe. Her home address was 110 E. Seventh Ave.

Mrs Redden was graduated in 1898 from Tempe Normal School. Following her graduation, she lived in Long Beach, Calif., until 1920 when she returned to Arizona. She spent her early life near Cordes in Yavapai County.

Survivors include four daughters, Mrs. C. W. Ramsey, Ajo, Mrs. Alice Ramsey and Mrs. R. J. McClure, both of Tempe, and Mrs. A. A. Smith, Prescott; and two sons, Leonard, Scottsdale, and Cecil, Tempe. Also surviving are two sisters, Mrs. Grace Harvey, Bishop, Calif., and Mrs. Maud Daly, Phoenix; a brother, Eben Perry, Buckeye; 10 grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren.
