Born in Chicago, Illinois on April 19, 1925.
Departed on July 21, 2005 and resided in Cornville, Arizona.

Edward (Al) Koltz, 80 of Cornville, passed away on July 21, 2005. He was born on April 19, 1925 in Chicago, Illinois to Frank and Monika Koltz.

Mr. Koltz attended the Wells High School and the Holy Trinity Parish in Chicago. He is a retired custodian and also worked as a caretaker of the Park District of Chicago and the Norwalk Trucking Company.

He loved bowling and was captain of his team. He won the Peter Hamm Reserve in the American Bowling Congress 54th Annual Tournament in 1957.

Mr. Koltz is survived by his wife of 53 years, Florence; daughters Karen Baechle-Wardingley (Ray) of Chicago, Ill. and Pamela Koltz of Sedona, Ariz.; and sisters Irene Buozban and Lorraine Middaugh.

He is preceeded in death by his parents; daughter Kimberly Koltz; sisters Bernice and Virginia; and brothers Bernie, Steve, Bernard, Richard, Mitchell, and Frank.

There are no services planned.
