Mary Laura (Teague) Lightfoot

Born in Camp Verde, Arizona on Feb. 26, 1927.
Departed on Aug. 2, 2005 and resided in Camp Verde, Arizona.

Mary L. (Midge) Lightfoot, 78, died August 2, 2005. She was born February 26, 1927 in Camp Verde, Ariz., the daughter of Colonel A. and Ruth (Walker) Teague, the oldest girl of ten children.

She attended Camp Verde schools and worked for 20 years for Ward Ranch as a cook. She later worked as a home health aide for Catholic Social Services of Yavapai County.

Mrs. Lightfoot was a member of the Square Dance Club and the Baptist Church.

Her hobbies included dancing, flowers, sewing, quilting, embroidery, canning and taking care of her family and others.

Her husband, William Earl Lightfoot preceded her in death.

She leaves her sons, Alvin and Colonel Lightfoot; brothers, Alvin, Bill, Jack and Kenneth Teague; sisters, Verdie, Juanetta, Scharolettie and Sophronia; four grandchildren; and twelve great-grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held on Saturday August 6 in the Middle Verde Cemetery at 10 a.m.
