James H. Moore, Jr.

Born in Bragg City, Missouri on July 30, 1932.
Departed on Aug. 14, 2002 and resided in Sedona, Arizona.

James H. Moore, Jr., a resident of Sedona in the Village of Oak Creek, died August 14, 2002. Jim was born in Bragg City, Missouri July 30, 1932.

He married Carmen Speer and they had five children, Carol Denise Edison, Greenleaf, Id., Cathy Lynn Robertson, Napa, Id., Sheila Lynn Simler, Evergreen, Colo., Jay Moore, Chievres, Belgium, and Cheryl Constance Rarrick, Galt, Calif.; brothers, Doyal Moore and Daulton Moore; sister, Justean Palmer; twelve grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Jim moved to Arizona with his family in 1958 residing in Sunnyslope and Glendale, Arizona. Mr. Moore was preceded in death by his father and mother, sister and brother and second wife, Ruth Modesett.

Mr. Moore managed Peak Container in Phoenix for 10 years and retired from Golden State in 1996 as a sales represenative.

Jim was also a great outdoorsman and could spin some wondeful fishing and hunting tales. His freezer was always full of fish and wild game.

He met Sharon Kahle in 1998 and they married January 23, 1999 and resided in the Village of Oak Creek.

Mr. Moore was a member of the Sedona Lodge of Elks and attended Unity Church of Sedona.

Memorial services will be held Saturday, August 24 in the Unity Church of Sedona, 65 Deer Trail Rd, at 2:00 p.m. Memorial reception will follow immediately in the fellow ship hall of the Unity Fellowship Hall.
