| Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home and Crematory - Lake Havasu City, Arizona - Joseph Souza, 71, passed away on November 12, 2015 in Lake Havasu City. He was born to Jesuina and Joseph Souza on January 18, 1944 in Azores, Portugal. He was wed to MaryAnn O’Haire on June 7, 1986 in Cumberland, RI. Joseph earned a Bachelor of Science degree and he was a member of Eagles. His employment included working for Sears and Roebuck as an Electronics Technician, Havsasu Landing Casino as a Slot Tech manager for 10 years as well as a part-time Police Officer in Warwick, RI. He loved golfing and he was known as “Mr. Fix-it”. He was an animal whisperer. He enjoyed old westerns and boxing. Joseph is survived by his wife, MaryAnn Souza of Lake Havasu City, AZ; son, James Souza of NY; step-son, William Tamboe, Jr. of South Kingstown, RI; step-daughter, Michaela Tamboe of Lake Havasu City, AZ; sisters, Maria Brush of Lake Havasu City and Leonor Souza of Providence, RI, as well as his pets, Otis, Guido and Kitty. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jesuina and Joseph Souza and brother, Albert Souza. A memorial service will be at Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home on Saturday, December 5th at 2:00 pm.
