St. Paul, “I fought the good fight”; as did Roger by being a
faithful Catholic. Roger fought a courageous 5 year battle with
Melanoma.

Roger started his life in Minnesota and transplanted with his family
when he was 14 to Spokane, Washington. Roger participated in most
all sports at Mead High; however, lettered in track. He served 9
years in the Army National Guard of Washington State. He had a
wonderful career of 41 years with Kaiser Aluminum Reduction Works.

After Roger’s retirement, he enjoyed attending many a Catholic
retreat, traveling, gardening, entertaining, boating and enjoying
the Arizona back roads with some of his dearest friends.

Roger is preceded in death by his 4 siblings, Audrey, Avis, Leland
and Bryon. He also lost two sons, Steve and Scott. Roger is survived
by his wife, Carolyn and children, Joy Olson, Terese (Eric) Steven,
Tracie (Craig) Wilds, Todd Lindsay and Tabrina Lindsay, 13
grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.

In memorial of Roger, please donate to the Toilolo family and/or The
Zaria Mission; both can be directed to Our Lady of the Lake Catholic
Church.

A Rosary at 10:30 am and Memorial Holy Mass at 11:00 am with
reception to follow will be at Our Lady of the Lake on Friday,
December 4th.
