Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home and Crematory - Lake Havasu City, Arizona >>> January 18, 1939 - November 11, 2015 <<< Ruth Marie Finley was born to Joseph and Elsie Fehr on January 18, 1939 in Peoria, IL. She was wed to Jon Finley on July 4, 1959 in Peoria, IL. Ruth and Jon took a free Robert McCulloch flight in 1965 and decided to move to Lake Havasu City that year. They owned and operated Ace Answering Service and Ace Ambulance where they were both EMT’s 24/7 in the 1970’s. They were also the owners of Ruth’s Taxi in the 1990’s. Ruth is survived by her sons, Alan Finley (Barbara), Todd Finley (Eva), Brian Finley and daughter, Barbara Stevenson (Lonnie) all of Lake Havasu City; 9 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren; brother, Mark Fehr (Nancy) of East Peoria, IL; sisters, Madalyn Rosecrans of Morton, IL, Doris Baer (Robert) of Tremont, IL, Phyllis Holmes (Marshal) of Morton, IL, Barbara Reinbeck (Larry) of Tremont, IL, Nancy Schmidgall (Gary) of Morton, IL and Betty Jordan of Deer Creek, IL. Ruth is preceded in death by her husband, Jon Finley, parents, Joe and Elsie Fehr and brother, (Edwin) Bud Fehr. A memorial service will be Wednesday, November 18th at 2 pm at Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Apostolic Christian Church of Phoenix, 9230 N. 26th Street, Phoenix, AZ 85028. Services were placed in the care of Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home and Crematory.
