MESA, Mar 29--Rollie Clarence Drorbaugh, pioneer Mesa resident, died at 6:30 o'clock this morning in a local hospital, after a lengthy illness. He was 56 years old.

Mr Drorbaugh came to Mesa with his parents, Mr and Mrs Dan Drorbaugh, when he was two years old, directly from Lone Tree, Ia, where he was born January 18, 1886. He received his schooling here and in 1917 he married Ruby Collins of Superior.

In 1907 he homesteaded northeast of Mesa.

He is survived by his wife, two daughters, Elizabeth Mary McFadden of Globe and Virginia Drorbaugh of Mesa; two sons, Roll C Drorbaugh of Mesa and Clarence C Drorbaugh, stationed with the U.S. Army in South Carolina; a brother, William J Drorbaugh of Mesa; and a sister, Mrs Ina Morganson of Chandler.

Funeral services await word from his son in South Carolina.

MESA, Mar 31--Funeral services for Rollie Clarence Drorbaugh, 56 years old, who died Sunday morning following a long illness, will be held at 2 o'clock Thursday afternoon from the M L Gibbons Mortuary. The Rev Granville D Edwards of the Christian Church will officiate.

Mr Drorbaugh, a native of Iowa, came to Mesa when he was two years old. He was a farmer in this district, residing northeast of Mesa.
He is survived by his wife, Ruby; two daughters, Elizabeth Mary McFadden of Globe and Virginia Drorbaugh of Mesa; two sons, Roll C Drorbaugh of Mesa and Clarence C Drorbaugh, who arrived here last night from South Carolina where he was stationed with the U.S. Army; a brother, William J Drorbaugh of Mesa, and a sister, Mrs Ina Morganson of Chandler.
