Clytie (Denlit) Rudy

Mrs Clytie Rudy, a resident of Arizona for 56 years, died Thursday, June 23, in the Yavapai Community Hospital. Services were held at 2 this afternoon in the Ruffner Funeral Home. Rev Merle Heatwole officiated. Burial was in Mountain View Cemetery.

Mrs Rudy was born June 4, 1881, in Troy Grove, Ill. She and her husband operated the Rudy Ranch near Kirkland for many years until they sold it in 1957. Mrs Rudy also taught school in Skull Valley after World War I.

She was a charter member of the Kirkland Woman's Club, and served twice as president of that organization. She also was a member of the Yavapai Cattlegrower's Association.

Mrs Rudy is survived by a daughter, Mrs Edith Haynes, of Taft, Calif; a son, Harold Rynearson, of Kirkland; one grandchild; and three great-grandchildren.

Prescott - Services for Mrs. Clytie Rudy, 85, a native of Troy Grove, Ill., who died Thursday at Yavapai Community Hospital here, will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Ruffner Funeral Home, with burial to follow in Mountain View Cemetery.

Mrs. Rudy had lived in Arizona since 1910. She and her husband were formerly owners of the Rudy Ranch near Kirkland. she was a charter member of the Kirkland Women's Club and a past president of that organization.

Mrs. Rudy was a member of the Yavapai County Cattle Growers Association and, following World War I, taught school at Skull Valley.

Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Edith Haynes of Taft, Calif.; a son, Harold Rynearson of Kirkland, A grandchild and three great-grandchildren.

Friends may call from noon to 5 p.m. tomorrow at the mortuary.
