CRISTAN, Florentina R.
December 14, 1920 - April 23, 2009

Florentina R. Cristan, 88, of Coolidge joined her late husband, Daniel Monreal and son, Roberto Gomez on April 23, 2009. Nana was born in Tempe, Arizona on December 14, 1920.

Rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. on Monday, April 27 at Simes Mortuaries Coolidge Chapel. Funeral Mass will be at 9 a.m. on Tuesday, April 28 at St. James Catholic Church in Coolidge. Burial will be at Valley Memorial Park in Coolidge.

Nana's loves included cooking, card games, crocheting and singing to Mariachi music which always led to dancing with her family. Foremost, Nana cherished her family. She exemplified the true essence of motherhood. She loved the Lord her entire life. Nana chose nursing to be her career, and retired after 11 years at Pinal County General Hospital. After retirement, Nana became the Oldest Lifetime Ladies Auxillary Member of Post 3713 and was awarded the Certificate of Appreciation from the National Veterans of Foreign Wars.

Nana's family includes Bessie Nakwas, daughter, Sergio Miranda, son, Daniel Nunez, grandson, Brittaney Levario, great-granddaughter, and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.

Services entrusted to Simes Mortuaries Coolidge Chapel.
