FLORENCE - Lidia D. Manjarres, 84, of Florence died April 24, 2009 at Apache Junction Health Center. Rosary will be recited at 10 a.m. today at Assumption Catholic Church. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 by the Rev. Charles Cloud. Burial will be in Florence Cemetery. Mrs. Manjarres was born Dec. 26, 1924 in Agua Prieta, Sonora, Mexico. She was a homemaker. She loved spending time with her family, especially the children. She loved everyone and spent much time in prayer. Survivors include a son, Henry Manjarres Jr.; four daughters, Marian Celaya, Susan Teran, Angelina Angley and Rosina Marr; three sisters, Maria Manjarres, Celia Fonseca and Helena Ramirez; 12 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband of 51 years, Henry. Simes Mortuaries Florence Chapel is in charge of arrangements. Published in the Casa Grande Dispatch April 28, 2009. |
