COOLIDGE - Annie Larson, 88, of Coolidge died peacefully at home on April 26, 2009.

Visitation will begin at 11 a.m. Thursday at First Baptist Church. The funeral will follow at noon, with the Rev. Howard Gwartney officiating. A graveside service will follow in Valley Memorial Park.

Mrs. Larson was born Sept. 29, 1920 in Rose Bud, Arkansas. She moved to Arizona in 1959 and worked at the Arizona Training Program at Coolidge, retiring after 26 years in 1987.

Survivors include a son, Kenneth Lee of Trout Creek, Montana; three daughters, Janet Poe of Coolidge, Peggy Gronemyer of Tucson and Mary Mergenschroer of Rose Bud; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank; a daughter, Carol Gill; a granddaughter, Amanda Poe; a great-grandson, Hayden Sparkson; and a sister, Lena M. McGuire.

Simes Mortuaries Coolidge Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
